Why Violence is Never the Answer?

I found this quote a couple of years ago by Martin Luther King, he once said, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." This quote means that violence cannot drive out violence, however, your problems can be resolved through speaking with each other. Although there are situations in which violence may seem like the only answer, people can find alternative responses to get their arguments and points across.

"Through violence you may murder a terrorist, but you can't destroy terrorism." Violence may seem like the solution to your problem in the short term, but it truly won't resolve our long term problems. Furthermore, when people resort to violence more people are getting hurt in the process.

Establishing truth is hard when we live in a society colored by the deceptions of violence. Our society has swallowed the bloody belief that violence solves problems. We wrap violence in acceptability and even admiration. Violence permeates our, it seeps into our entertainment. It flavors our national identity.
